Just had a thought. If and when EA shuts down bf2 servers, I would love for them to do one final update before actually shutting them down. Your local servers will have you playing with mostly local players. So if you're playing really early or late, just switch to the next closest server and try to que again. (Because if you're queing early or late your local players will probably be sleeping.) If it doesnt work, switch to the third closest server.Battlefield 3 is almost 10 years old. Battlefield 4 servers are alive and well with an active community. That game is almost 7 years old. It all depends on how many people continue to play Battlefront 2. I think it will continue to have a strong player base at least until another Battlefront game comes out, if it ever does.
