I really don't think prime weapons should ever be weak, the entire rest of the weapon pool carries the burden of weapon progression. Ideally, primes are just primes. Honestly, MR0 primes have always irked me. And Vasto Prime with it's recent buff only got bumped up to a modest MR3, which isn't too bad. Edited December 19, 2017 by rapt0rmanPro: looks kinda cool. I can't say much about that standard version beyond that though, as my main experience has been with the prime one (actually my most used weapon according to the game - Which is WRONG, because that award goes to ...I would have to agree with S0V3REiGN, if you have gotten a bunch of good prime drops from running those keys, you should be able to trade one of those on the trade channel directly, or trade those parts for platinum to get the receiver from another player. Looking at the warframe market site, you should be able to get that part for 6-10P.

Same thing happened to me when I was farming the Braton Prime receiver in T3 def. It took me 37 runs of T3 Def before it finally dropped. Yesterday I did 1 T3 def run for a friend who needed it and it dropped at the first try.I think Burston Prime is better because DPS and Burst dmg is better. Latron Prime is my favourite. I prefer weapons that favour accuracy and fewer shots over more shots and favour spamming. Whatever suits your play style, both are viable.
