Each map has its scav rep separate from the others. You start with .25 rep on first extract per map and it then decreases by about half each time until you get to .02. Again you can do this on each map so you can usually get around 1.5 rep pretty easily. You shouldn’t mistake gluhars guards with raiders, because killing the boss or his guards pulls your rep down even more than normal scavs. true.

I love that the most effective way to become a "good scav" is to not even play your scav. Not to sound salty but the whole way of gaining rep has always rubbed me the wrong way. There are very few benefits/negatives to high karma as a PMC, so why is it that running each car extract on each map 2/3 times is almost enough to max out fence rep.Grab a shotgun and go play your pmc. Scav players are Giant LOSERS. Raise your scav karma (Fence rep) and build your intel center. Unless you go in on your PMC and instantly die, it shouldn't matter. I rarely have to wait long between PMC run's even with 25 minute waits. Get better scav karma.…

There is no limit to the cooldown reduction but there are diminishing returns. Also, when you have max fence rep, scav bosses no longer aggro you when you're on your scav, which can allow you to do some really mean shit to other people should you be so inclined.
