I didn't take this new one but I think it's more difficult because the current actual step 2 (in my opinion) is different then previous ones. I took it yesterday and it really was a different test than the NBMEs and the (old) new free 120. Different concepts tested and just felt alot harder.But a friend had 90% and last week he received his score: 230. The 120 free doesn't correlate. And 88% is a good performance. Reply ... Just found out about the new Free 120 today and took it. Dropped from 70% on the previous one to 64% so just curious what everyone's thoughts are on an "acceptable" score on this new free 120. I personally think free 120 is not to be used as gauge on how well you are doing . Got 85+ on both old and new fee 120 and real deal step 1 was 22x . NBMEs are a much better conservative comparison. Even U world is becoming not as predictive from what I've been reading and the score predictors rely heavy on them. Had 240s on mine .I took the free 120 4 days out from my exam today. I was honestly kind of shocked by the difficulty and length of the questions. I ended up scoring a 73% on it, but my previous tests (full faith timed) are: FORM 27: 69% Form 29: 78% FORM 30: 85% FORM 31: 83%. If 191 is your highest, I wouldn't feel confident going in. Maybe take another NBME or 2 and Free 120 see where you stand. If you can push it back, do it. Exam in next week (5 days) As an aside - I recently learned (yeah late to the game) that the passing score for CK is higher than than of step 1 (209, as opposed to 194).
