The 26" IC barrel put 134 of 218 pellets (hand counted) in a 30 inch circle at 40 yards for 61%. The 28" Mod barrel put 173 out of 218 pellets in a 30" circle at 40 yards for 79%. They are a pot metal with a weak paint job. You will have a clean trigger assembly with zero finish on the guard. The 51 will not feed a shell every time when working manually. You have to push the carrier release each time. However, it should extract shell from chamber every time, and not double feed. May be a problem there.Also, the Model 51's need regular replacement of recoil springs. Once you fix all this, and if you are willing to clean the shotgun regularly, the Model 51 is truly an awesome gas operated semi automatic, and the one to buy IMO is the twenty gauge.
