At this time they t-40 not able to date instruments and dating don't have any idea when or if they'll get the capability to do so again. As I mentioned the serial is really hard to read, so I wondered if it could have been sanded down and re-laquered at some point, losing the decals as it all seems to be the right shape from what I can see, but it has a few corners where it looks like it might have been sanded.
