None of which is meant to disparage the FoF, which I still love. (Had one about a week ago.) But most fast food fish sandwiches just seem to be FoF clones (BK and Portillo's, eg). Popeye's sandwich has a fundamentally different taste. I prefer the classic over the spicy. Like you said, the fish is good but in my case the sauce wasn’t too great tasting. It was like a 6/10 for me. Chicken ones are way better. Although the new Shrimp they have is really damn good.
