The ECM might need to see itself out of limp mode, which would mean connecting the missing parts back on for it to see them to pop out of limp mode, and be tuned.ram 2500: truck is in limp mode stays in 4th gear..connector..pins…. Dec 19, 2021 · Limped it home in 4th gear. Googled the problem, and found this thread. Went out and turned the key, started and it was not stuck in 4th anymore. Drove around the block and everything seems OK.
