I purchased this doorbell camera not knowing that you need to have an existing dooebell with an exist wired 8-24 volt AC service. So this doorbell is NOT wireless like other simplisafe devices. This creates a problem with homes like mine that does not have an existing doorbell. Does anyone know of a battery powered workaround?Yes.
